Early release NEXT Friday, Nov. 7 at 1:00 PM. Buses at 1:00 PM. Staff training in the afternoon.
Today, we had a special visit at Dewar Middle School & High School from our local K9 Kennel partners and their trained canine units! These dogs are highly skilled in detecting a variety of substances including black powder which helps ensure our campus remains a safe environment for all students and staff.
Their presence is an important part of our school safety efforts, helping us identify and prevent any potential safety risks related to firearms or other prohibited materials. We’re grateful for the partnership and expertise of K9 Kennels and their canine teams.
At Dewar School, student safety always comes first and proactive measures like today’s canine visit help us maintain a secure and positive learning environment for everyone.

Hey Dragon Nation! State Cross Country meet times for tomorrow, October 25th, have changed — Adena Fowler will now run at 10:30, and Parks Coble will run at 11:00 at North Rock Creek! Let’s show them our support! Go Dragons! We’re so proud of you, Adena and Parks — bring that Dragon fire to state!
