CALLING ALL DEWAR DRAGON ALUMNI! WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Homecoming is next week, and Dragon Media is bringing back our Homecoming Hype Video! But this year, we have something a little different planned, and we need YOUR help to make it happen!
Last year, so many of you helped us by sending in old football footage and pictures from your days as a Dragon. We absolutely loved getting to look back at those memories, and we want MORE this year!
But this time, we don't just want your memories. WE WANT YOUR VOICE!
We're putting together a special video that connects generations of Dragons, from the ones who built the traditions to the ones carrying them on today.
HERE'S WHAT WE NEED:
Old Football Footage: Videos from past Dewar football games, no matter the year!
Old Pictures: Football players, cheerleaders, homecoming, Friday nights, team pictures, and memories made on that football field!
Former Dragon Football Players: We need alumni from ALL generations who would be willing to record a short voiceover for our video!
DON'T WORRY, WE'LL MAKE THE VOICEOVER EASY!
We will send you exactly what you need to say! You can come up to the school, and our Dragon Media students will help you record, OR we can walk you through recording it on your phone and sending it to us!
You don't have to be a great speaker or have fancy equipment. We just want the voices of the people who helped make Dewar football what it is today!
DEADLINE: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13!
We know it's short notice, but we have a vision for this year's video, and we think it could be something really special!
We want our current players to see the generations who came before them, our younger Dragons to see what they're working toward, and our alumni to know that the traditions and memories they helped create are still alive today.
WANT TO HELP? HERE'S HOW TO REACH US!

It’s National Coaches Day!
Today, we want to thank all of the amazing coaches at Dewar Public Schools!
The coaching life isn’t easy. Our coaches spend countless hours away from their own families, giving their time, energy, and hearts to our students. They teach so much more than just a sport—they teach hard work, discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself.
A lot of what coaches do happens behind the scenes and long after everyone else has gone home. The practices, late nights, early mornings, long bus rides, planning, encouraging, and constantly showing up for our kids do not go unnoticed.
We are incredibly thankful for every coach who pours into our Dewar Dragons!
Happy National Coaches Day, and THANK YOU for everything you do!

Dragon Nation, we’re ready to AMP UP the school spirit for Homecoming Week!
With Fall Break, we only have TWO days of school during Homecoming Week, so we’re going to MAKE THEM COUNT! Then we’ll finish it all off with our Homecoming Game and Homecoming Dance!
We have some FUN things planned for our students, but we need your help with PRIZES!
We’re looking for donations like food or drink gift cards, candy, snacks, Dewar gear, small gadgets, or anything else you think our students would be excited to win!
Our main focus will be our middle school and high school students, but depending on the amount of prizes we receive, we would LOVE to include our elementary students in some of the fun too!
Homecoming Dance information will be sent home THIS WEEK, so be on the lookout!
We may only have two days at school, but we’re ready to pack them FULL of school spirit and fun — and then keep it going through the Homecoming Game and Dance!
Let’s make Homecoming 2026 one to remember, Dragon Nation!
