This week’s “This Is What a Dragon Looks Like” spotlight goes to Jace Russell, who was nominated by Mrs. DeBock for his kindness, hardworking attitude, and willingness to help others.
Even though Jace isn’t in Mrs. DeBock’s building this year, that hasn’t stopped him from going out of his way to lend a helping hand. Mrs. DeBock shared that Jace often helps her carry things from her car into the building—even when it’s raining!
Jace is also always quick to say hello and shows kindness through the little things he does each day. Whether he is helping someone who needs an extra hand or simply taking the time to greet others, his thoughtful actions make a difference.
Being a Dewar Dragon is about more than what happens in the classroom. It’s about showing kindness, helping others, working hard, and doing the right thing even when no one asks you to.
Jace Russell is a great example of what it means to Lead the Dragon Way—and THIS is what a Dragon looks like!
“This Is What a Dragon Looks Like” is brought to you by Dewar News Middle School staff member Pasly Silkwood.
