I have linked the assignments below for 8th Science, Physical Science, and 6th Grade Science, but be sure to sign in to my class to ensure that it notifies me of your completion of each assignment. If you cannot join a class, have a parent/guardian check off each assignment completed and email me the checklist.

There are questions and quizzes to answer after completing the articles and videos.  I will also be adding discussions to google classroom throughout the week about each week’s topics, so check in and participate in the discussions. Electromagnetic Waves < Use this link for the following assignment.

May 4 – Khan Academy: Light: Electromagnetic waves, the electromagnetic spectrum and photons

May 5-8 : Research motion or electromagnetic waves. Develop an idea or project that will demonstrate either motion or electromagnetic waves. Also, create 5 questions and post them for your classmates to review and answer. Finally, you will pick two of your classmates and answer each of their 5 questions, so you will be answering a total of 10 questions.

 

6th Grade Science

Login to google classroom and join my class using the codes above. The assignments will be under the classwork tab. I have added all the assignments for the rest of the semester. I will also add discussion questions throughout each week about the week’s topics, so check in to the classroom daily and participate in the discussions. Most of the assignments will be off of the ck-12.org website, but all of the links will be on google classroom. I have a classroom on ck-12 for 6th Grade Science if you want to join it also. The code for it is vqfci. I have linked all the topics to the assignments on ck-12.org, so if you use these links, make sure you join my class on ck-12 because it won’t notify me on google classroom that you have completed them unless you go through google classroom. However, if you join my ck-12 class, it will notify me on there when you complete each assignment.
